The artist Jo Ogier is concerned with issues of conservation, ecology and the role each of us can have in nurturing, protecting and preserving our fragile world.
It seeks to promote public awareness of the unique and awe inspiring beauty of the landscape, the many endemic species of flora and fauna, plus the fragility of the ecological systems within it.
Jo’s works are hand printed with oil based inks onto NZ flax paper (harakeke) made by Bruce Cockran from Wanaka, Central Otago, New Zealand. The paper is 100% acid free, 100% harakeke – NZ flax.
Process: Japanese Keyblock. These woodblock Prints have been hand made using the Japanese keyblock technique.
